Do you have any products from China? Are the products from China safe?

There is no evidence supporting the new coronavirus is transmitted through imported products. While it is true that some diseases can spread through surfaces that are contaminated by people who cough or sneeze, the viruses cannot survive outside the human body for more than 24 hours. Delivery lead time from China to IKEA units in various parts of the world range from 18 to 85 days.

Why wouldn’t you sell the product on display?

According to the sales principles of IKEA, every product must be on display with an accompanying label. This gives our customers the chance to review the product, and get more information about it, ultimately making shopping easier. We do not sell products on display, to be able to present our whole product range to our customers at all times, and to be able to show the assembled form of our products, most of which are sold in flat packs. 

Since we sell in high volumes and continuously check stock availability, we keep the products which have run out of stock on display with a relevant note to help our customers keep track of the product.

Do you stock the spare parts of discontinued old products?

We continue to offer spare parts for most of the old products which are no longer in our product range, and particularly for lighting products and venetian blinds. For other products you can check out the Bargain Corner when you need spares. However, we note with regret that the spare parts or screws for discontinued products are limited to existing stocks.

In which countries are IKEA products manufactured?

IKEA’s spirit and designs are 100% Scandinavian. However, in order to be able to offer the lowest prices at all times, our manufacturing processes are coordinated with more than 2000 suppliers in 50 countries. Regardless of the country of origin, one thing is certain: all our products are genuine IKEA goods.

How can I get a notification when the product is back in stock?

If the product you searched is not available in stock at the store, you’ll see an ‘Inform  me when it's in stock’ link. Use that link to register your e-mail address and an e-mail will be sent to you when the product arrives in stock.

How can I check if a product is available in stock at a store?

You can use the web site to see if the product you intend to purchase is available in stock at a given store. All you have to do is to write the product description or article number in the search box on www.IKEA.com.tr and proceed to the product page. Once the product page is displayed, you can check the stock availability on the right hand side of the page.

Can I place an order for an out-of-stock product?

If the product you wish to purchase is not in stock at the time, please contact the sales representative and ask for an estimated arrival date. Take note of the article number of the IKEA product you are interested in, and call Customer Services around that date, to get an update. If the product has arrived, you can come and get the product at our store.
