“Many ideas for VARPTROSS lamps were born on the factory floor in Vietnam, including balancing the straight lines of the slats by gently rounding them. We also wanted the interplay of material and light to offer an inviting glare-free glow. How wide should the slats be, how close should they be? The solution was to use two layers of bamboo. The lamps take up space without taking over and act as a subtle foundation in the decor. Minimalist, yet with a soft and warm feel."
