You can change your mind

If you are not satisfied with your purchase from an IKEA store for any reason, all you need to do to receive a refund or exchange is return the product in its original packaging (unopened), along with the sales receipt, information slip or e-archive invoice, within 30 days of the purchase date. If the product is not in its original packaging or has been assembled, the value of the returned product will be credited to a return card that can be used at IKEA stores. The terms and conditions for using the return card are stated on the back of the card.

For purchases made through the online store, the first step you must take to return your product/order is to notify us within 14 days of the delivery date. Click here for the return request steps. If you prefer, you can also complete the return process by visiting our stores within 30 days.

You must complete the Return Request steps before making any transactions at the store. For returns and exchanges of invoiced sales made in the company's name, a return invoice must be issued.

Return policy for mattresses*

It takes time for you and your new mattress to get used to each other. This is why we offer a 90 days trial period to help you decide if the mattress meets your requirements. Try the new mattress at home for 90 days. If you are not satisfied, you can return to have it replaced with another mattress.

Returns are not accepted for appliances, pre-cut fabrics, plants, plastic bags, products purchased at the Bargain Corner, SYMFONISK, ENEBY and VAPPEBY audio systems, STARKVIND, FÖRNUFTIG and UPPÅTVIND air purifier, TRIXIG electrical hand tools and products cut/designed with reference to your order, such as kitchen counters.

Online Store Return Policy

For purchases made from our online store, you can return products within 14 days of receipt, at our expense, through our contracted delivery company. Alternatively, you can return the products to our stores within 30 days of purchase. When shopping online, you must bring the product in its original packaging and with the e-archive invoice, just as you would in our stores.

General Terms of Returns

1. Returns must be made with original packaging or box.
2. The return of a product will not be accepted if the original packaging/box is damaged, if the product is broken or incomplete, or if it cannot be resold.
3. We can engage in return planning for the products you wish to return. We will cover the return delivery charges for products returned via our contracted logistics providers. Otherwise, the logistics providers firm will charge you for the delivery fees.
4. Return requests for assembled furniture products which were sold originally in disassembled form, will not be accepted.
