Divide a small space

Konstancja and Jurij have made their compact balcony feel bigger and more useful by dividing it into different zones. Relaxed low seating gives them an outdoor living room, with a ‘coffee table’ for drinks and snacks. There’s also a separate dining space for when they have guests over, thanks to a fold-out table and chairs. RUNNEN decking brings the zones together.

Extend your home outside.

When Konstancja and Jurij renovated their home, they had to rebuild the crumbling balcony and start afresh. "We like to utilise every corner of our home," says Jurij. "The balcony almost didn’t exist, but now it’s our favourite place to sit and have our morning coffee in the summer."

“We have to be smart with limited space. Fold-out furniture is flexible and easy to move around. Using hanging planters means the balcony feels full of greenery without taking up floorspace.”
