The tabletop is made of lacquered MDF – a strong and durable material comprising of tightly compressed wood shavings.

This generously sized table and its durable construction offers space for all types of activities like dining, homework, drawing or playing games with the kids.

The tubular steel table legs offer strength and durability with the look of traditionally crafted, turned wood.

Less risk of children hitting their head as the table has rounded corners.

The chair cover comes in one piece and fixes in place with hook-and-loop fasteners so you can easily pull it off and put it back on again.

The tubular steel legs are sturdy and won’t wobble, and they will last longer than wooden table legs.

The chair cover is made from Vissle fabric in polyester, which is dope-dyed. It’s a durable material with a smooth weave and a nice two-tone effect.

After lively meals, it's nice to know that you can easily pull the chair cover off and machine wash it.

Designer Thoughts

"I was challenged to design a product with a new production technique using steel instead of wood. Inspired by traditional-style tables, I came up with a design that had a crafted look, but could also appeal to those who prefer a simpler expression. Thanks to clever technology, we were able to make tubular steel legs that look like turned wooden legs. Strong and stable and with soft rounded shapes. I hope that DANDERYD table will bring warmth into many people’s homes."
