GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF IKEA BUSINESS CARD
Once the application form for "IKEA BUSINESS CARD" (Card) is filled in and signed, the present general terms and conditions will be deemed accepted. To get a Card and enjoy the benefits of the Card, you must be a business taxpayer and/or enterprise. The Card is not subject to the Regulation on Bank Cards and Credit Cards, and is valid only at the IKEA stores in Turkey.
The Card holder agrees and warrants that the information provided on the application form is accurate. Filing a Card application does not automatically mean acceptance.
The Card is owned by MAPA Mobilya ve Aksesuar Pazarlama A.Ş. (MAPA), and should be returned upon request. Cards which are not returned can be cancelled by MAPA any time.
This Card is valid for furniture and home accessories purchases at the IKEA stores operated by MAPA throughout Turkey. The advantages offered by the Card do not apply at IKEA stores abroad or for restaurant products, sewing service, and assembly services.
This Card can be used only by the natural person named on the card, with the requirement to submit official ID document; the card cannot be transferred to another person. Invoice is issued to the business title stated on the Card.
The Card’s advantages cannot be combined with other advantages offered at IKEA stores, or combined with other promotions. The Card’s advantages may be temporarily suspended or revised at times of promotions and discounts.
MAPA can share the information provided by the Card holder on the application form, with Maya Holding Group Companies and the entities they specified, as well as with Akbank T.A.Ş. for it to provide banking services for the card holder. Unless specified otherwise, the Card holder permits IKEA to contact her via SMS, internet, phone, post etc.
If MAPA observes any abuse of the Card’s terms of use or irregularities in its use, the Card holder shall be prevented from enjoying the Card’s benefits, and the rights and advantages of the Card holder shall end. In such cases MAPA can demand the return of the Card or cancel the Card.
The person who finds a lost or stolen Card should phone 444 4 532, or return the card to IKEA store staff.
If the card is stolen, lost, or damaged beyond use, MAPA shall not be liable for any damage which may arise or the inability to exercise the benefits of the relevant Card till the case is reported to MAPA. In the case of written applications regarding a stolen or lost Card, the old Card shall be cancelled and the Card holder shall be issued a new Card bearing a new Card number in response to her written request.
If the Card is damaged beyond use, a new Card bearing the same card number shall be issued to the Card holder upon her written application along with the former Card. Any rights and benefits pertaining to the old Card shall be maintained with the new Card.
If the relevant firm’s officials decide to terminate the authority to use cards on the part of persons who are authorised to do so, they shall be required to report the matter to MAPA. MAPA shall not be held liable for any damages to arise otherwise.
MAPA is entitled to revise the conditions regarding how the Card’s advantages can be utilised. Invoices for the purchases made by Additional Card holders shall be issued to the associated main card holder.
As the Card holder is able to learn about current terms and conditions via IKEA communication channels, she shall not claim lack of notice provided to her. MAPA shall not be held liable in any form due to late, incomplete or inaccurate news about promotions, announcements or any problems including but not limited to those which may arise due to the failure to provide the related services to the Card holder in full or in part, due to any issues with the electronic infrastructure the system operates on. In case excessive discounts or other benefits are accorded to the card due to errors or malfunctions, MAPA shall be entitled to correct such problems without the Card holder’s consent and/or notification.
MAPA can combine the Card with other programs, or assign it to third parties.
MAPA reserves the right to postpone or cancel the IKEA Business CardKurumsal Kart program or revise its general terms and conditions without providing justification, or by notice through phone, electronic message, messages or various means.
All “required fields” on the application form should be filled in completely for the Card to be issued. Furthermore, any documents required from the firm for the issuance of the card should be submitted completely.
The information you provide on this form shall be shared with Maya Holding Group Companies and the entities they specified, as well as with Akbank T.A.Ş. for it to provide banking services to you.
