IKEA CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY DISCLOSURE TEXT
In accordance with Turkish Law on Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("Law”), your personal data can be processed within the scope described below by Mapa Mobilya ve Aksesuar Pazarlama Anonim Şirketi (“IKEA” or “Company”) as a data controller.
1- Purpose of Processing Personal Data
As a principle, statistical data is obtained within the scope of the survey, non personal data is collected. However, our valued customers may indicate some personal data while answering the survey. In this context, the personal data shared are processed for the purposes of learning your ideas, confirming whether you are in the target audience, performing activities for customer satisfaction, transmitting the survey and communicating about the survey and survey results.
2- Places and Purpose of Transfer of Processed Personal Data
The purpose of processing personal data shows parallelism with the purpose of transferring the data. IKEA may transfer your personal data to our group companies and business partners that carry out studies on the survey project in order to increase customer satisfaction and carry out commercial activities by the Company.
Your personal data may be transferred to institutions and organizations which cooperated by the Company to carry out the company's activities, domestic/foreign individuals or institutions in case data is stored in the cloud environment, domestic/foreign institutions that has an agreement about sending emails or messages, public authorities upon request, and related business partners.
3- Collection Method of Personal Data and Legal Reason
As a principle, since it is essential not to collect personal data within the scope of the survey, it can be blocked and deleted if the system automatically detects that your answers include personal data such as e-mail, telephone, order number, loyalty card number, credit card information.
Your personal data, which is obtained without being blocked, is processed by Article 5 of the Law by your declaration of will to start the survey process and the legitimate interest of our company. Your personal data is collected through the forms and automated methods used while conducting the survey.
4- Ways of Application to the Data Controller and Your Rights
As per the Article 11 of the Law, by applying to the Company, you are entitled to
a) Learn whether your personal data are being processed,
b) If they are, request information,
c) Obtain information on the purpose of processing and find out whether personal data has been used as fit for the purpose
d) Obtain information about the persons in Turkey and abroad, to whom personal data are transferred,
e) Request rectification of personal data that may have been incompletely or inaccurately processed,
f) Request the deletion or destruction of personal data as per the Article 7 of the Law and Article 17 of the Regulation
g) Request notification of the operations made as per indents (e) and (f) to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
h) Object to occurrence of any detrimental result by means of analysis of personal data exclusively through automated systems and
i) Request compensation for the damages due to unlawful processing of personal data, and
j) To claim compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing. In addition, you can use the right to unsubscribe from the e-mail list free of charge by clicking the link in the e-mail content.
You can submit your applications in relation to your above-mentioned rights by filling out the Mapa Furniture and Aksesuar Pazarlama Anonim Şirketi Data Owner Application Form. Depending on the nature of your request, your applications will be finalized as soon as possible and within thirty days at the latest; however, in case of additional costs, the Company reserves the right to charge you a fee according to the tariff to be determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
