While the superpower of our BILLY system could be its great looks at a fantastic price, and for the IVAR system it’s flexibility, the LÅDMAKARE system boasts both. Its simple, open back design and oak effect finish create a sense of transparency and a framing effect.

“As a designer, I find beauty in everyday objects,” says IKEA designer Friso Wiersma. "My idea with LÅDMAKARE was to create storage that allows for personal expression by displaying your favourite items, while offering closed storage for things you’d rather keep out of sight.”
