How to dress your table to impress

Every now and then we all have a dinner party where we want to pull out all the stops and go all in elegant. We’ll leave you to work your magic with the food, but here’s our top tips to win a few wows with a beautiful table setting.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Enough glasses and tableware for you and your guests
Thick paper for name cards
A natural coloured table runner and napkins
Small plant pots in a natural color
Candles plus candleholders
Bright, fresh flowers and a few small leafy branches

1. Soften up with textiles.

Textiles help soften up the whole setting and are a great way to personalise. We’ve used soft, natural colours without patterns to give an elegant look.

2. Make your place.

Just match your tableware to your menu and arrange your cutlery going from outside in -in the order you’re serving. Then do the same thing with the glasses.

3. Then personalise!

Personal spots are an easy way to make each guest feel special. We’ve matched a name card with a micro sized plant display in the the middle of the setting.

4. Freshen up with flowers.

Flowers in vase and plants make a fresh, natural centrepiece. We’ve gone for bold and bright colors to give some pop to the natural colored textiles and bring some life to the setting.

5. And light the candles.

All that remains is to perfect the ambience with some music, some drinks at the ready and light the candles.
