Frequently asked questions - general 1. When will the new catalogue be issued? How can I get one? The annual IKEA catalogue is distributed every September. The IKEA catalogue is mass-distributed annually in Izmir, Bursa and Istanbul free of charge. If you did not receive this year’s catalogue, stop by the IKEA store near you for a free copy. Alternatively, you can view the whole catalogue online. Please click to view online catalogue. top of the page 2. What are the working hours of IKEA stores? IKEA stores are open from 10 o'clock in the morning till 10 o'clock in the evening every weekday. For more information about working hours during official and religious holidays, please ask to customer services desk. top of the page 3. How many instalments are available for credit cards? IKEA is always putting effort to reach the maximum number of people by presenting quality products at low prices at all times. However, we do have instalments up to 36 months for the Worldcard, HSBC, Shop&Miles and Bonus Card and up to 32 months for the Axess Card with interest. You can always call our customer services phone line to learn more about the seasonal campaigns. top of the page 4. Do you have a customer shuttle service? Can I find a taxi in front of the store? No, we don't have a shuttle service. But there are bus stops quite close to our stores. Also there are taxi stations in front of the stores. Our Customer Service Department will always be pleased to arrange you a taxi in case you have some difficulty finding one. top of the page 5. Can I return an unpacked/opened product? Yes. You can return the product if you bring it back along with its invoice. In this case however, no refunding will be done and you will be given a return check for the value of the product. You can use the check at any of our stores any time you wish. top of the page 6. Why can't I find every product I am looking for in the stocks? As you already know, the entire IKEA range is coming from other countries. This sometimes results in running out of stocks due to extreme demand and/or delays in the customs clearings. If you find out the code of the product you are interested in, you can learn about the latest status by calling our customer services and can be informed right away if the product has been received. top of the page 7. Do you provide home delivery and assembly services? Many IKEA products are flat-packed for easy transportation and designed to be assembled by customer with regular tools at home. You can simply put the parts together with a little work. That's why many IKEA customers buy the products they like, take home right away, assemble on their own and start enjoying them in the evening. However, if you still need help for transportation and assembly, URSUS (İstanbul) and AKDURAK (İzmir), which are independent transportation and assembly companies working in connection with us will be of assistance to you for a suitable fee. You can find URSUS and AKDURAK stands located close to the store exit after the cash registers. top of the page 8. Do you have online shopping? Yes, you can order by contacting us. Just one click away! top of the page 9. Can I place an order for a product that is not available in the stocks? If the product you want to buy is not available in our stock, our sales representatives will tell you the approximate date of arrival for that product. If you note down the product code of the IKEA product that you are interested in, you can learn about the latest status by calling our customer services telephone and telling the code when the date given to you has come close. If your product has been received, you can come to our store right away and buy it. top of the page 10. In which country are the IKEA products being produced? IKEA’s spirit and designs are 100% Scandinavian. However, in order to provide our customers with the most suitable price at all times, we have been carrying our production with over 2000 suppliers in 50 different countries. BY CAR Directions for Balıkesir, Akhisar, Manisa route: Take Bornova exit off İzmir route. Drive on to the direction of Ege Üniversitesi Hastanesi to Konak. Turn left from Hastanesi road junction and take Aydın highway. Stay on the left lane to arrive 2. Sanayi/Yeşilova junction and Turn right. Turn left at the junction and drive to the direction of Mevlana Mah. You will see IKEA Bornova on your left. Directions for Didim, Aydın, Kuşadası, Bodrum, Çeşme, Urla, Seferihisar, Narlıdere, Balçova route: Take Bornova exit after the highway toll payment. Follow the Ege Üniversitesi Hastanesi signs along the road. Follow Mevlana Mah. sign. Turn right and you will see IKEA Bornova on your left. Directions for Çanakkale, Foça, Karşıyaka, Alsancak, Konak, Hatay, Buca route: Drive on to the direction of Ege Üniversitesi Hastanesi on Bornova road.
