Our organization

Our company has been organized in a lateral structure in which the hierarchy is kept at the minimum level so as to provide the flow of information between the customer and the top management in the most effective manner.

Our stores are the places where our customers come face to face with IKEA. We aim to present a lot of ideas, solutions and inspirations to our customers in our stores. Besides having the opportunity to do a pleasant and convenient shopping in our stores, our customers must be able to carry out most of their shopping work by themselves. Our informed and smiling employees must be ready for assistance in the event that one of our customers needs help. Accomplishment of our high service standards is possible only by means of a proficient and determined team which has been made up by the directors with the sense of responsibility and the team members who perform their duties with enthusiasm in every area of the store such as the sales, restaurant, depot, cash registers and customer services.

• Furniture Sales
The furniture sales area in our stores offer functional, realistic and inspirational solutions for every corner of the house that satisfy different tastes and different needs. Our furniture sales team aims to fulfill our high standards in the sales area, meeting our customers in a friendly manner and providing them with correct information.

• Home Accessories Sales
The home accessories sales area in our stores offer a variety of 3000 products in groups such as kitchen utensils, lighting, home organization, decoration objects, home textile, rugs and parquet that our customers will need to complete the decoration of their houses. Our home accessories sales team aims to fulfill our high standards in the sales area, meeting our customers in a friendly manner and providing them with correct information.

• Logistics
Our logistics team aims to ensure that the right products are at the right place, at the right time and at the minimum cost.
- Product orders are collected from the stores and the products are procured from the suppliers through central means and distributed to the depots and stores.
- It is under the responsibility of the store logistics team to take delivery of the products arriving at the store, put them in storage, carry them to the right area in the store, make their stock check and to plan the area in the store so as to hold up the sufficient number of products.
- You can work at the branches of planning, depot, stock check and imports at the logistics department.

• Indoors Design and Communication
The Internal Design and Communication team works together with the sales and logistics teams and ensures that our products are offered in a functional, attractive and realistic manner. So, our customers can do their shopping in an ambience full of inspirations and functional solutions. It is possible to work at the indoors design, visual presentation and graphic design areas and at the carpenters' workshop in this team.

• Customer Services
Our Customer Services team has, without any doubt, been entrusted a big role to ensure that our customers can do their shopping in our stores with pleasure and can receive the right answers in the matters they may wish to consult about the products before and after shopping. It is possible to work at the areas such as the Children's Paradise, cash registers, product return, consultation, maintenance and repair and call center at the Customer Services

• IKEA Food and Beverages
Swedish Meatballs, Sausage Sandwiches (Hot Dogs), Swedish Specials make up an important part of a pleasant day which a whole family may spend in our stores. It is possible to work in the Food and Beverages team as the master chef or in the departments such as the hot and cold service line, Swedish Food Market or Exit Cafe.

• Finance
We have to make profit and provide a steady cash flow in order to carry on the rendering of our services to our customers. Our Finance team is responsible for the management of the long term and short term financial operation of the company. It is possible to work at the areas such as the budget planning and internal audits, accounting or treasury in the Finance department.

• İnformation Technologies
Our Information Technologies team is responsible for the electronic substructure that enables the continuity of our operation without any setback, for keeping the developing processes up to date in the electronic medium and for ensuring that the users receive the necessary training. Software specialists and technical support specialists are working in this department.

• Human Resources
Each employee of ours is an internal customer for our Human Resources team. It is the principal objective of our Human Resources team to secure a productive and peaceful working environment in our company and to turn our place of business into the one at which the people want to work most in the sector. It is possible to get experience at a vast area that includes recruitment, training and development, remuneration, employee relations and personnel affairs in the Human Resources Department and to make an added value contribution to the operation of the company.

• Marketing
Our Marketing team aims to raise the familiarity with the brand of IKEA and the number of visitors to the stores. Our co-workers in this team work for the positioning of the brand of IKEA in parallel to the IKEA brand values in the Turkish market and for the design and application of the entire marketing instruments and activities such as the IKEA catalogue, web site, advertisements, promotions and public relations in a manner to raise the brand value.

• Product Management
Our Product Management team is responsible for the selection and pricing of the furniture and accessories to be put to sale in our country, for the management of the product life cycle and for the training of the store sale teams on product information. It is possible to work as a product manager in this area.

• Business Development
The business development team carries out the duties in the areas related with establishing the long term plans of the company and performing the feasibility studies on the new investments as well as putting the new stores projects into practice.
